This video work expresses the image of colors evoked by the sound of sound. The production process involves printing out a stripe pattern that looks like layers of colors I have created, and then joining the stripes together with camera shots of the desired shades to create the video. Although it is possible to complete all these processes on a computer, I do not. This is because I believe that the image is always an extension of the photograph, just like a flip book. I find the process of creating images with elements that are not too perfect or uncontrollable to be more exciting, and I feel a sense of space when viewing the work. I originally became a musician because of my fascination with the sound of chords, which is still the basis of my compositions.

This piece is a visualization of the blending and shifting of sounds and resonances, which is difficult for me to put into words. There is no sound attached. The viewer is free to imagine the sound through this work. Noise-canceling headphones will be available at the time of the installation and wearing them will allow you to immerse yourself in the world of the work. I hope that people will explore their own sound worlds through this work.
